Recently I have been using Pro Marker pens and using digital image graphics for my cards. I also use Spectrum Noir pens these work well with the pro markers. This card I made for a friends birthday. Using 8x8 size card and backing papers cut to slightly smaller. I used same range of colours to match the image colours. Adding floral leaves die cut and paper flowers.
I love greens with pinks seems to set it the image off pretty well I thought.

Christmas 2012
After some time of crafting on mini books I finally got down to creating some extra special christmas cards for my family. With success of owning a die cut machine at last, after such a long wait. Thanks to my Mum and Dad who sent me some money as a gift for my birthday, I put it all together to get my machine, just in time for christmas...lol. I love it..I bought the big shot and I am very impressed by it. So here is to making much more this year. At present time I am into making another mini wedding album for a friend, this time black white and cream theme..I love it so will post on here when I have put some pages together. Until then happy crafting all

Row Houses mixed media
I was looking for ideas to enter into my book of days so thought of doing some houses. Using a template I inked using distressing ink fired brick and over the chimney used wild plumb alcohol ink. Added a little lace and some pretty beading. The heart I coloured with pro marker pen and then used fired brick to distress the edges. The wording I found in my odds and bobs tin. The picture I came across ages ago and kept it for a later project I felt it was well matched for my house.Holly

I really must send these out to friends but wanted to share these on my blog first.I used spray inks as a base then added distressing inks, the wording is stamped on and I added hand made flowers and butterflies, to complete I added some multi coloured wool and flower brads.
Simple but effective.

Caitlins Birthday Card
I wanted to make something a little different this year for Caitlin's 5th birthday. She was wearing a fairy outfit the last time I see her so thought of doing a fairy castle card. I found a colouring picture on line and decided to make this in card, I used pro markers to colour the card with some distressing inks. Then used my white gelly roll pen to add some raised dots around areas. The fairy girls are from a backing paper and cut out as are the clouds. Really enjoyed making this, for Zac's 1st birthday card it just has to be a rocket..lol.Happy crafting

Book of days page
A page from my book of days in memory of my dog. I tried to use the colours that sort of went with her colours, she loved her blue ball so used blues and white, her collar was red so used hints of red in the inking. Flowers are made from paper and inked. The photo page I cut out in layers in the book, and the squares with wording I managed to collect from the new windows I had placed in the house recently, they are cork came in handy and the workmen were happy to collect some for me.

12 Tags of Christmas Snowman
Here is the second tag I made using Tim Holtz ideas. I had to adapt the background for this tag by using faded jeans distressing ink and seafoam embossing powder this give the background the feel of snow. I then stamped with snowflake stamp and embossed. The snowman was made using faded jeans ink and then embossed with seafoam powder. I used the buttons on the snowman and added a punched out snowflake to his hat. Really enjoyed making this tag and learned alot of how to adapt using different methods. To complete I added a little silver edged lace for a trim.

12 Days of Christmas Tags
Well I tried to attempt a couple of the wonderful tags Tim Holtz has been creating. This is my adaptation of the Reindeer tag. The background was a paper and inked using the walnut stain distressing ink, then I used the clear embossing ink and added seafoam embossing powder to give the effect of snow. I then stamped in clear embossing ink some snow flakes and covered with the seafoam embossing powder and heated. I found a reindeer and used the walnut distressing ink to give him some colour and shadow. The neck tie was a christmas pipe cleaner and added a bell. The holly leaves I cut out from paper and coloured. Then added a tiny tag for decoration. The base is a piece of grunge board and used some coloured brads for decoration. Really enjoyed making this tag. My attempt at the snowman was not as good but will add it here.
Happy Crafting and a Merry Christmas to all
